Where Will Vegan Travel Take You in 2027?
Ever thought about doing a vegan group tour?
From the growing vegan scene in Mexico City to the mountains of Machu Picchu, Ahimsa Travel Club’s 2027 journeys invite travelers to experience the world through delicious vegan food, ethical travel and community.
Have you ever thought about doing a vegan group tour so that every meal, experience and community is taken care of for you?
For us, vegan travel can be a way of connecting more deeply with a place through its food, its history, its landscapes, its communities and the traditions that have shaped them for generations.

That philosophy is at the heart of Ahimsa Travel Club, a vegan travel community, and it’s also what makes their 2027 lineup so exciting. They’re heading to some familiar favorites on group tours, discovering destinations that are just beginning to emerge on the vegan travel radar, and creating culinary and cultural experiences that go far beyond sightseeing.
Mexico City continues to be one of the most exciting destinations in the world for plant-based travelers and Ahimsa Travel Club is taking you on a colorful group tour to enjoy all the delicious tacos, pre-hispanic food of the Aztecs, art, architecture and layers of history.

From the ancient spice ports of Kochi to quieter experiences in a bird sanctuary followed by an overnight house boat in the peaceful canals , this is a journey designed for travelers who love depth of flavors, being surrounded by wildlife and going deeper into South India’s most beautiful destinations.
One of the most exciting additions to Ahimsa Travel Club’s 2027 lineup is China.

China has an extraordinary history of plant-based cuisine, with Buddhist traditions contributing to vegetarian foodways that stretch back centuries. Yet China is still relatively unexplored territory for many vegan travelers which makes it particularly exciting to us.
We’ll explore ancient cities in Beijing, tea culture in the mountains of Wuyishan and the cosmopolitan landscape of Shanghai while discovering the many ways plant-based eating has evolved across China over the centuries.
And Why Do We Travel This Way?
At Ahimsa Travel Club, we believe travel creates opportunities for travelers to meet local people, learn about Indigenous and ancestral traditions which have often been plant based, eat food with a story behind it, spend time in nature and experience places in a way that feels meaningful and intentional.

And yes, the vegan food is a huge part of it.
One of the great joys of vegan travel is discovering that plant-based food is not one cuisine. It is thousands of cuisines, shaped by geography, religion, agriculture, migration and history. Sometimes the most memorable meal of a trip isn't something created specifically for tourists or even something labeled “vegan.” It's a dish, ingredient or cooking tradition that has existed for generations.
That’s the kind of travel we want to celebrate.
